Somewhere between brown and blue
twinned eyes of mysterious hue
look up or sleep dreaming
as lungs aid gurgles screaming
as she messes or wets
or coos before/after sunsets
fleeting smiles across her face
She's in my heart place
with my husband in love
and push goes to shove
I'll stand for up for her
if someone tries to slur
her name and her reputation
anywhere in this large nation
Right now she's three weeks
and she has cute cheeks
Her smile lights her face
I hope she'll have grace
