: Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I attended Toronto Trek and thought Robin was a fabulous guest (if not the best one there!). I was working on the Charity Auction, and Robin made a great auctioneer! Thanks Robin! Hope you enjoy the Hard Rock - Babylon tshirt! You can add me to the list of new and faithful fans. Hope to see you again here in Toronto.

Hey, I was there, too, Thumper, but we didn't get to meet. :-( Maybe next time Robin comes to T.O. his fans can arrange to get together. Yes, Robin, I said next time because you know we'd love to have you back here in T.O.! This time, hopefully, you can have your own Q & A sessions and/or panels!!
My mini-report on the con: Robin turned out to be just as gracious, polite, warm and sincere in person as he is on line and via email. (He's also even taller and better looking than he appears on tv, but I better not go on about that or Robin might start blushing.) When I introduced myself to him, he seemed genuinely pleased to meet me and quickly put me at my ease even when I was being incredibly fannish and asking for autographs and a photo.
Unfortunately, due to other earlier commitments, I wasn't able to attend a couple of the main events Robin was at during the weekend. However, when I did get to see him he certainly brightened up my weekend with his easy-going, friendly manner. After a bad experience listening to one of the guest's on Saturday night, a hug from Robin made me feel much better by reminding me that there are actors out there who really do care about their fans and who are all around nice people to boot!
Other attendees of the con I spoke to during the weekend agreed that Robin was a wonderful guest. However, they also wished that they had had more opportunity to see him during the con. So, Robin, "y'all come back now, ya hear"!
I'm looking forward, Robin, to reading your con report so I can find out what fun I missed. Next time, I hope to join in on more of it. P.S. Don't forget to mention about carrying Cindy Huckle across the room at the Primedia party. I don't think she's come down to earth since! :-)
