We had an interesting and exhausting weekend at D*C...they had put the Fan Club tables 2 blocks away in the Exhibition Hall of the Hyatt...but all the action seemed to be 2 blocks away at the Apparel Mart so I sat with Robin and his girlfriend, Val, who shall be going to almost all of the future Conventions! She is wonderful, talented (a singer/actress), and sharp! Please make her feel welcome when you meet her at Robin's autograph table.
Thanks to SUPER FANS, Muriel Moore (Tessa) and Ellen Courtemanche, the entire weekend was a success and fun!!
Muriel/Tessa and Ellen had made a huge 6 foot banner in Purple with Gold Lettering saying, "Happy 30th Birthday Robin!" which was an added surprise for Our Hero!
Friday night, we went running all over town ...I should say, the State of Georgia, getting errands run. We didn't stop until 2AM! But, with a little sleep, we were ready for Saturday!
Robin and Val showed up at the Fan Club table only minutes after we did...to tell me that the Party we had planned for him needed to be set back from 11:30 to 3:30...all it took was a phone call and some negotiating!
While he was there we had him sit down and open one of his presents...He shook it first! I told him that they were shirts...Rogue Teeps always need shirts on the run! He ripped open the paper like a kid, from the bow outward, and then had to undo the secure tape on the box before he could get into it! Hey! I know how to wrap a present right!
"NO WAY!" was his reply upon opening the lid! "WAY!" was mine!

Yes, folks, Robin's submission finally arrived...the day they closed the Mac Labs for 2 weeks for upgrades.
This is the Initial Newsletter, which will not change (except for correcting last minute rush errors) and is to given out at all Conventions in lieu of the flyer...as it is a combination of both. I am sending this issue to everyone who has sent me their membership. The bimonthly Fan Club newsletter will be published in October and on a regular basis thereafter.
If you have not already sent your membership you will be able to pick up this initial newsletter at any Convention that Robin attends when you go up for an autograph.
The newsletters will not be posted on the website. So join the Fan Club and keep up with the news and pics of the Conventions..or lurk.
OH! We held Robin's Birthday party at Planet Hollywood where Pat Tallman, Jeffrey Willerth, and Red Johnson were among attending guests. I managed to organize a "Happy Birthday Pat and Robin" cheer at the beginning of the entire B5 cast Forum on Sunday Morning...with Val leading in singing Happy Birthday at the end of it.
Gosh but B5 Fans are wonderful!!!
