: Thanks for the concern! I moved to Central Florida a year ago to get AWAY from the usual path of hurricanes! But finding in Central Florida that we are the LIGHTENING CAPITOL of the WORLD (this is where the studies are done), and we still get to taste the edges of the Canes...the areas where Tornados form!!!

Well, I didn't need to go to a shelter...it seems that we had to worst of it via the feeder bands earlier in the week so when it went NW rather than N or NE from the Keys it went out to sea and took it's nastiness with it. Just pray that it doesn't have the opportunity to increase before hitting somewhere in the Gulf shores.
I can deal with feeder bands (hard rain and wind that spiral off of a Tropical Storm/Hurricane) so long as the eye of the Cane stays away from me!
