: Robin & Jeffrey,
: If you two don't stop, I'll have to go downstairs and raid the candy machine. Pathetic replacement, but you do what you can.
: Wendy;-))
: : Heavens Robin,
: : I forgot the lighty browned toast, dripping with local farmhouse butter.
: : How did I do that when such an a thing is so important.
: : You may even care to indulge in a little rough cut Devonshire marmalade after breafast with that coffee.
:
: : : Thumper,
: : : G'day.......
: : : Indeed it is wonderfull and I forgot to mention the mushrooms are thumper proof believe me.

: : : : : An Englishmans Breakfast
: : : : : Can there be more of a gastronomic delight than the sight of a well laden plate set well, and with the contrasting rich yolks of two well fried eggs, English breakfast sausage, fried bread done to a turn, the finest of smoked rashers of bacon, and to contrast this pallet of mouth watering colours, just a few fried mushrooms, picked earlier from the due covered fields.
: : : : : English mustard and HP sauce along with ground pepper and sea salt, sitting, waiting patiently for their turn to be used in the silver cruet.
: : : : : Piping hot breakfast coffee, for tea has long been taken, to finally rub into the taste buds all the excellence of such a meal.
: : : : : After which one can walk tall with the inner satisfaction of a settled mind and stomach for a while..........
: : : : Now that sounds wonderful!!! (except for the mushrooms, they don't like me :) )
: : : : Thumper
Hast thou forgotten hot buttered scones? and how about a couple of grilled kippers..
but then, that was when I was in Scotland... probably depends on your
location...
I prefered boiled eggs and soldiers, myself...
