: : Is It Really Racialism Or Is It Us ............

: :
: : At this time England is locked in debate over Racialism. Black and white as it is called, but there are many colours and creeds which fall into the category if it be a category at all.

: :
: : I am of the opinion that those of us that are white, so called, are as guilty as those others of the accusation.

: : Why is it that each time controversy over the black and white issue occurs, we so called whites are found to be lacking in respect and manners and normal behaviour?

: :
: : I am ashamed for those that claim to be white, with self opinionated, clear cut prejudices which I suggest we all are guilty of, both black and white.

: :
: : Within any nation there are those whom cause trouble for troubles sake and these people I personally abhor. Perhaps they have good reason to do so but seldom if so, do we hear of it.

: :
: : It is indeed a very cruel world, however that gives none of us the selfish right to take the law into our own hands and behave as we wish.

: :
: : Like it or not there are lines of behaviour that our self created social society demands. The crossing of these lines without authority is clearly wrong, and if we do so, then we should expect the penalties that go with such behaviour.

Unfortunately I am of the belief that Racism or Racialism will always be
present in
soceity...It comes from insecurity and fear...I hope that one day we
will rise above this weakness in
our humanity... I fear It will take a great catastrophe to pull us
together...
Or a great deal of time...On a positive note although some say times
haven't changed...
I believe they have...I see changes all around me on a daily basis...
My brother commented the other day while visiting from Japan on how
amazed he was
to see so many races in one place together....
We were in a supermarket...
Although it's a funny comment to us...
Simon has been living as a foreigner in a country where the majority of
the people are of the
same nationality...
The United States is still the great melting pot...
unfortunately some people seem to find more fuel in the fire than in the
pot!
This is such a huge problem all over the world... to just start writing
about it...
creates an overwhelming feeling of disgust for the recent hate crimes
here as well as
the rest of the problems all over the world...
Racism is a sickness... a highly infectious disease that needs to be
stopped....
And the place to start is with ourselves...don't add fuel to the fire
beneath the pot....
Take a dive in and learn something....

Hey ...... Smiler.

I have seen Martin Luther King both dead and alive, and I listened to him.

I was in the states you will recall during the death of JFK and the great march upon Washington.

To say that the subject is a disease is surely incorrect and the very thing that spreads your fire that you refer too.

The United States Of America has always been at the base of the topic but you raised that not I.

If you read what I wrote you will see it is written with compassion and thought and a yearning for all men to be equal.

A massive problem world wide you say .... maybe Robin, but someone has to start somewhere and silence is certainly no answer.

If exploitation of labour was brought to a halt, that in itself would be a beginning.

Anyhow Smiler you know when I go I go ... so maybe your forum was not the place.

Still Love You

DaD
