: UK Update No.1.

: Whilst our Hero basks within the arms I guess of the one he knows the best I have completed the preparations for what is known as the Happening.

: Happenings are established times betwixt Simon and Robin and I when we meet and dwell, and hold, and talk, and smile, of times gone by.

: Happenings are eased during evening times as the red stuff or even harder stuff begins to flow and Robin starts to recall some parts he played years ago whilst Simon and I look on.

: The grass is clipped and painted with natures green, the daffodils nod as if they know, the cherry blossom has come early, perhaps it knows also, clematis is in bud, camelias are showing off also.

: The brass is polished as the silver too, their bedroom smells of lavender with a touch of rose.

: The village baker is on full alert as is the butcher, whom produces his own steak and kidney pies .... a sheer delight as Robin remembers.

: Constant bacon sandwiches .... a must with fruity sauce or plain HP or tomato.

: The heather on the moors is golden brown, soon to take on cerise and purple and others within that spectrum, and wild early hollyhocks and fuschia are in bloom.

: Yesterday I saw the first lamb of the year, I wished a private wish, and watched as it struggled to stay with the flock.

: The scones are fresh and the cream superb, but only with local strawberry jam. and contrary to the rule the cream goes on firstly and afterwards the jam, but only if the scones are nicely warm.

: Then its who is going to be mum, I guess its me to pour the tea, and then we can ease back upon the grass and view the sea.

: Tis time I lunched on salmon and cucumber sandwiches and a few mugs of freshly ground coffee.

: Late

: Jeffrey

I forgot their electric blanket, but maybe they dont need one.

Severe frost and biting wind here today.

I think I will put a little itching powder in as well, that always works a treat.............
