: Purple,
: Have to admit, it was a great weekend. Wonderful seeing you and Kudos again -- along with Scots and Canth.

: And who could forget Robin and Jeffrey. Two of the nicest people you'll ever want to meet.

: Take care.
: Sandy

But other than that I had a great time! One thing that should be noted is that Robin wasn't a regular guest at Shore Leave, he came on his own (paying his own way!) just to see his fans in this area! With 2 days notice of him coming, Shore Leave was able to give him time on stage on Friday and mention in the pocket program, but his being there was a wonderful surprise for everyone! I happened to be at the table next to him, and had several people tell me they only bought full memberships to the convention because Robin was here! Robin hit the ground running friday, getting to the hotel only 5 min before he was to be onstage thanks to a wrong turn and typical DC/Baltimore traffic. But, after a quick check in, he was on stage and wonderful! I don't know of anyone else who can spend the day traveling across the country and 3 time zones, spend 3+ hours in traffic, then be charming, witty and funny for an hour onstage! He then signed for anyone who wished after was, before going off for some well deserved refreshment. Saturday he signed all day, then stopped in for the children's part of the Masqurade before the pool tables called him away! That evening he came to the 10-forward party and Mojo's Rave. Sunday he fit in a couple of hours of signing, and sat in on Jeffery's talk before having to catch an early flight back. Everyone who spoke to me about Robin was so delighted he came, and with how nice he was! Not a person came up to him that didn't get a smile, and a moment of his time, no matter how busy he was. I heard several people who were'nt B-5 fans (had never heard of the show, in fact) but were so impressed with how charming and good looking he was! LOL! I hope Robin had as good a time as all of his fans(old AND new) did seeing him!

As for the rest of the convention, the masqurade was the best I have ever seen! hopefully there will be tapes available. Eric Pierpoint was delightful and sweet, Tim Russ sang to us! Jeffery was fun as always. (Do you think this is EASY?)(it's a joke, just ask someone who was there! LOL) and James Marsten from Buffy (Spike) was frankly a surprise! He was young and cute, but suprisingly intellent and articulate. Have to like anyone who's favorite TV viewing is the History channel. Considering the hectic, rocky begining this convention had, (guests cancelling at the last min, guests coming at the last min, James didn't call to say he would come until Thursday night!) I thought it went rather well.

In all, a fun weekend!
and my new wish role for Robin? Some biker gang member! He had a picture of his motorcycle, and I can just imagine him on it all dressed in black leather, can't you? LOL!
Cheers!
Susan
