Well, as many of you know I started my new job this week! Saturday was my first day, I worked from 11 am to 3 pm and it wasn't really that bad. Monday, the first day of school, was quite a different story!!!! There were TONS of new students coming and asking questions about all sorts of things that I had never even really thought about! I had to sort 2 BIG BOXES OF MAIL!!!! It took me forever, and I'm really glad that my manager had been worried about me working alone that day and came to help me out. She answered questions while I attempted to sort the mail. It took forever and fortunately I got off today about 5 minutes before it came! Hehehehehe Got to leave it to the other new info desk worker. Today was much better, though. I think once I get used to how things work, I'm going to really like the job a lot. :) The people are all really nice. If I still have my sanity by the end of the week, it'll be a fantastic achievement! lol I think I'll be able to come to chat Thursday night, but I won't be able to stay too late since I have to be up early the next morning for class and then work.
