: great idea... but not as gilderoy.... perhaps as snipes. giggl.
: in germany harry potter goes to cinema in november. we have to wait...........

Alan Rickman has already been cast as Snapes. I think it is a very good casting from the stills that I have seen.

I was trying to think of parts from the second, third, and fourth books that haven't been cast, yet.

I would think that Robin would have an affinity for Harry Potter. From one of his talks at DragonCon, they have many things in common:

1. Born in England (also a prerequisite for most of the casting)
2. Had a dreadful childhood up until about the age of 12 (give or take)
3. Had at least one near-death experience before the age of 12.
4. Around the age of 12, discovered a very magickal place (California for Robin; Hogwarts for Harry)
5. Can speak foreign dialects very naturally (For Robin, you have to hear his CD. For Harry, he can speak to snakes. Yes, I know. I'm starting to stretch now.)

If not Gilderoy Lockhart, there are several parts in the third movie that might suit him (Prof. Lupine (sp?) or the Prisoner of Azkaban - Harry's godfather). Although I would like to see Jason Carter as one of these also. It would be good to see them in the same frame of film together.

Has this ever happened? Jason and Robin together in the same frame of film (other than at conventions ;) )? They were both in Bab5, but they were in different seasons. They were both in Charmed, but in different episodes. Let's try to get them together in Harry Potter!
