A question about the chat

I apologize in advance for being off-topic and newbieish, but I have no other way of asking.


I'm using MSIE 3.0. (Before you ask, my computer's too slow to handle anything higher than that.)

Is it possible at all to even access the chat using this software? What of Netscape 3.0? I'd really like to participate in this, but as it uses java that neither of my browsers seem to want to handle, it doesn't look like I can. Help?
