It seems to me the pickings are kind of slim when it
comes to RAD and a convention. He certainly seems
willing so let's start letting the groups who sponsor
these events know who we want to see - Robin Atkin Downes
AND we'd be willing to pay for the opportunity, not to
mention spending quality time in the Dealers Room and
also buying overpriced hot dogs from concessions.

The above groups all have web pages as do most
conventions. Check the back of The Zocolo for
a more comprehensive listing. Most cons start
planning and booking a year before so if not this
year perhaps they will consider next year.
NOTE: These cons are all fan run - initially Star Trek
fans -so if you feel that the Star Trek franchise
is a dead horse that has been beaten too long, in this
case keep it to yourself. Who knows -maybe RAD - may
one day make an appearance on a Star Trek episode!
The SciFi Channel is running an audio theatre on their
site The Dominion [www.scifi.com/]. Various celebrities
perform or read from classic or original science fiction
pieces. Michael O'Hare from B5's first season has
already done one performance. Wouldn't RAD be perfect
for that. I don't know their e-mail but I'm sure there
must be an e-mail address at their web site:
www.scifi.com
So let them know who they've been missing.
