: Well I'm sure "Our Hero" doesn't "work" conventions, if you know what I mean...... (grin)

: Sorry for the mispelling dear, but I'm from Baltimore and we don't get no decent schooling.(grin)

The worse things we get over here are the mispronunciations - like Leicester (pro. Lester). But the worse ever heard by anyone I know was courtesy of an Australian guy looking for "Loogerborooger" or, as we know it, Loughborough (pro. Luffburra). Heck I don't even know if I just spelled that right - most places are "-borough" but some are "-burgh". It's all too complex. If you come to Scotland, be prepared to get laughed at, specially round Glasgow where the spelling and pronunciation are completely different. eg Milngavie (a suburb of Glasgow) is pronounced "Mulgye". Are you confused yet?

: Sure, I'd love to meet another fan of "Our Hero." Are you by any chance near Glasgow? That's where I'll be staying most of the time I'm in Scotland.

I'm not that near Glasgow, I live in St Andrews which is nearer to Edinburgh. But hey, mail me anyway. Besides, if you're into golf, you'll be in the area - it's the "home of golf" allegedly.
