What type of surgery are you having? I had the RK (Radial Keratotamy ) surgery four years ago to correct my nearsightedness, and it's wonderful to not have to wear glasses or contacts! My vision without correction was twice the legal blind limit here in the states (20/400) Couldn't even read my clock 5 inches from my face! Now I see 20/25 from one eye, and 20/30 from the other. I hope your surgery goes well, and will be thinking about you.

: I know I don't make it into Byron chat - it's kind of late for me here (2am) but I still really like posting here and seeing what people are doing across the world. The internet, and also Babylon 5, have really opened up my world and introduced me to loads of people. I now don't know how I'd manage without it.

: Anyway, I'm going down south on Thursday for a few weeks so I'll be out of reach of my computer. A load of you are at Dragon when I'm at Wolf I think so no hope of a surprise visit from Robin (sigh). And after that, I'm gonna have surgery to fix my eyesight. It'll be a miracle when it's done, but meanwhile it's a scary concept. So think of me please, guys, away from my link to my friends. I will miss you all, and hope to be back on-line some time toward the last week of July.
