I first had the chance to have dinner in klingon uniform with Barbara March. She played Lursa the Klingon Bad lady in Star Trek the Next Generation and in Deep Space 9...
After the feast I learned that RAD was in the building and in the Paddock Lounge (The bar of the con motel)Kudos (My Boyfriend) had encountered him in a talk and was unable to attend the Klingon feast since the club area called Frankie and Johnny's (has a broken lift GRRR To that)
So I went into the place in my Klingon uniform and started looking for Tall blonde hatless males standing in the semi-darkened room through the crowds of people... Hmmm I went into a brighter area and asked someone sitting in the lobby area that had couches. He told me that Robin was wearing a hat...
Geeze I didn't recognize the boss in a hat (Purple Blushes.) I saw a table that had three men sitting at it enjoying some conversation, one in a hat...I went over and asked the gentlemen(Jeffrey Willerth, Robin himself and some other fellow) if they knew a chatter named Purple.
"God Luv Ya Purple" was the first thing I heard, and then Robin introduced me to Jeffrey. We talked some over all the convention. On Saturday while Robin was busy I think he was heading somewhere for a short break from sitting, selling, and signing his pictures, I did a mischievous thing. I ran to the gift shop and bought two plain Hershey bars and returned to the unoccupied table.
I wrote on a piece of paper."Chocs for Byron from Purpy" and left them there as I went to the Huckster room to check out what people had for sale.
I returned to where Robin had been sitting to find that he had found them, and he gave me a piece of the candy I had bought him. Saturday afternoon someone had him arrested and put in the Klingon jail (A local Klingon group uses the jail to raise money for charity.)He in return had the woman arrested that had him arrested for photo opportunities.
**Ladies!!! Robin's Hair is as soft as a baby's!!I touched the mane! Woohoo!(I wonder how he keeps it so soft??)**I helped as my Klingon persona to arrest him and Kudos took a few pics of him and a few of the other guest stars. We also got Tim Russ' autograph and Barbara March and I got Eric Pierpoint's and Kudos got Gary Lockwood's during different days during the convention.
Sunday, Kudos and I went to a Panel with Jeffrey Willerth and Robin. I bought Robin a stuffed animal purple and black rainforest plushie Frog and I signed the tag "Remember Purple" and my real name and he said he was going to keep it by his computer. He had to leave at noon and before he left the hotel I had bought him a button that said "Never Moon a Werewolf."
We hugged him goodbye and the last thing he heard from me was
"We will all come together in a better place a place like here again!" And I pointed to the floor as he looked over his shoulder at me.
Thank you for making the trip out to the con, Boss It wouldn't have been the same :)
