First and foremost:

CONGRATS

It was great to see your report Purps.. I am so sad we didn't connect . Romance was in th air this year
as I met someone at dinner Friday night, met up again at the PIRATE PARTY and spent a lot of time with him
this weekend and will see him this weekend despite the four hours between us.

I know the LITTLE MISS KLIGON HOMEWORLD- her framily is on the USS THAGARD which is the trek club I'm in..
The costumes and skits were awesome. I wasn't expecting the mascharade to be soo cool- but it was awesome
I loved the H-Mer and the storm troopers (who I had seen with Lord Vader at the Pirate Party)

I didn't actually spent a lot of time doing the con stuff. I mised hearing Claudis speak becasue I was
in a meeting. Didn't care much for Denise Crosby.. but what I saw of Claudia I liked
She was very very accessible. Marjean was very beautiful, darker complexion than I thought but stunning

I am now a chaplain in the Starflet Marine corps

I slipped into the final event of the weekend without having a badge for Sunday
and saw most of a Star Trek based parody on Titanic. (I was supposed to cennect with my guy but
had missed him and was trying to find him.)

I got 8 hours of sleep over two nights (I had trouble sleeping Friday night and was out late saturday night)

I also had a great time at the dance. My guy is a dancer (not by profession but as a hobby)
and we were dancing up a storm, swing dancing to American Pie, and other tunes..
That wasn't easy as the dance floor was very crowded-- at times we went to the back of the room
and danced by ourselves so we didn't hit anyone

It was a very intense weekend.. I'm sad I didn't connect with Purps..
I was looking for a telepath black dress but by Saturday night
I was pretty much goo-goo eyes for Chris.

On the job front, I may be working by next month and moving in three weeks
The congregation votes on my call(appointment) to that church
on July 30th..

You know they say when it rains it poors. I have had such a bad year starting
about 50 weeks ago- the last week of july last year.. this week has been
so incredible..between Chris and the job stuff... WOW!
