: : Hehehe Most of the little ***** are gone at this point but I'll still see a couple every day. Mostly little ones and a few larger ones trying to cling to their lives by staying up in the crack near the ceiling where I just can't reach the little buggers! But things are much better. I do always keep the can of Raid near me, though!! Talk to you later.

:
: If you have cats or dogs, ignore this advice, but if not:

: Buy a can of an aerosol fogger type insecticide. Set it off just before leaving the house, stay out for several hours, and be ready to clean up and air out when you come home.

: Then -- and this is the important step -- get boric acid powder at the drug store. Put a thin trail of it in all the places the buggies like: under the sink, behind the furniture, all the way in the back of the cupboards, even under the rugs and lineoleum. It's poison to them, and they track it back to their nests.

: I did this when I moved to NYC and never saw another roach.

: Boric acid is toxic to pets though, (not to mention the fogger spray) so don't do it if you have furry creatures.

Sullivan,
I don't have cats or dogs but I do have fish and a lizard so I'm not sure that idea would work. It was a good one and one I had considered, though! I've got a couple of cans or Raid and lots of roach traps set out so I hope that'll take care of the nasty little things. They're pretty much gone at this point actually *knocking on wood* so that's definitely a good thing.

Eily
