Before I met : him, I didn't know sign, or very much about the : deaf community. I have : heard stranger translations of song lyrics. : ********************************************** : : : I once met someone whom I discussed matters of life and of the occult ... of telepathy and of religion. This man was dressed more shabbily than I but I saw that he was a man and so I asked him what did he think of the state of the world today and of such matters. It was in a far off country perhaps not so well off as the western world. When I repeated my question this man looked at me with a gentle smile upon his face and said ³ I would love you and be with you forever ² : : : This reply has haunted me all my life until I finally decided to return to this place and seek out my friend for I wanted the truth. I returned to same spot where we first met and to my great surprise he was there. He said to me ³ Hello my friend so you have come to understand.² I replied yes I have and he said ³ In the coming alone is your understanding Goodbye Friend ³. : : : From that moment on I realised that I had indeed been blessed and that my life would change. It did ... I felt deep thoughts of my fellow man ... I changed as a person and saw in those things that were normal and everyday, great beauty and pleasure and rejoiced in this. : : : Simon and Robin and my other sons, and my daughter will be more than surprised to read this of their Father but I shall not flinch, for I know that they are yet to feel this sensation ... this manner in which I express as hard as I try a truly moving time in my life. I believe that all of us can benefit in more care and love for each other, not of a religious form perhaps more esoteric or telepathic. : : : In this place there is great peace and I have found great pleasure and joy in seeing it grow.
