Suddenly Rhett Butler .. robin ..turns and looks at Scarlett ..pat .. and Scarlett knew from that moment on she was trapped by this man.
Her heart pounded as she gazed upon his steely blue eyes. She knew she had met him .. the man she had been searching for all her life.
Holding her gently he just looked into here eyes, beautiful eyes, and clasped her closer.
Scarlett was done for, she was putty in this mans hands. Rhett said in a deep rich mahogany voice ³ Scarlett I , I, have something I wish you to know, ³ Scarlett I will back for you ³.
She knew that this was coming but could not answer, her eyes told all. Rhett held her neck very gently, his other arm gently held her around her trim waist and kissed her. Scarlettıs heart was so fast , here thoughts lost into oblivion, her lips smarting from his kiss for this was the first.
Rhett touched his hat in respect and draws about him his cloak and says ³ Scarlett I shall be back for you ³ . Scarlett barely issued forth in a whisper ³ I know Rhett ³ Rhett turns once more and gazes upon her feminine beauty and bids here ³ Goodbye ³
Scarlett was lost, her thoughts deranged by this, she walked across to a mirror and gazed at her face, her fine fingers touching her lips in disbelief, one hand to her waist to feel if he was still there, as a tear formed in her eye, with a dainty handkerchief she wiped her eye and sat down to accept she was alone, but in a way not so.
As she stared out through the grand windows she knew that she was so deeply in love, so deep it hurt. She whispered ³ Rhett ³ but he had gone.
